There's a special department called the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit which is dedicated to finding and arresting corporations or people who try to deceive the govt and do some fraud and abuse in healthcare. Essentially many of the cases that are prosecuted by the MFCU often commence with some info from a patient. So if any supplier endorses treatments or services that you may not feel are necessary then be on your guard and be particularly wary.
