The user can play each voice before selecting one.

For connecting the TomTom to the computer the following steps have to be taken. The TomTom software can be downloaded and installed from the official website and the operating system is selected. The USB is connected to the TomTom and the computer on its respective ends. Depending on the model of the TomTom it may be provided with dock which can be directly inserted in to the slot.

After the connection is made TomTom device is turned on and its software is opened. Once connected the user is capable of downloading latest features from the website. It also allows the user to install other options that were previously not available in the device. The device is opened in ‘my computers’ option available in the computer. If some additional voices or display features have to be downloaded and installed the files are placed in the respective folders. Once the file transfer is done the software is closed and checked if the transfer is completed and eject it.
