An Exclusive Look At The Fragrance Adidas Fair Play
The fragrance Adidas Fair Play for men was developed 2008 by an unknown perfumer. The fragrance is specifically made for the company Adidas.
Perfumes and Colognes reflect the intensity of aromatic compounds in a mix of ethanol and water. The most common intensities used by perfumers are parfum, eau de parfum, eau de toilette, eau de cologne. Parfum has between 15% to 25% of aromatic compounds; eau de parfum has between 10% and 20%; eau de toilette has between 4% to 15%; and eau de cologne has between 2% and 5%. This Adidas Cologne has the eau de toilette intensity, hence it has between 4% to 15% of aromatic compounds.
In 1983, Michael Edwards created a system for classifying perfumes called the Fragrance Wheel. According to this classification system, there are fourteen different Families. This Adidas Fragrance is part of the Water Family. Dominant notes of Marine and Aquatic are characteristic of perfumes classified as Water.
Water Family is further subdivided into four separate categories. These categories are Fresh, Crisp, Classical, and Rich. These categories are all distinctly Water, however the fragrance notes get richer and deeper as you go from Fresh to Crisp to Classical to Rich. This Adidas Cologne for Men belongs to the Crisp subdivision.
There are three segments that make up a fragrance’s life, which are labeled Top Notes, Middle Notes, and Base Notes. These segments occur because each Fragrance Notes that composes a cologne or perfume has differing rates of volatility or evaporation. Therefore, Adidas Fair Play goes through three distinct stages.
Top Notes are light, volatile and evaporate quickly. They are a fragrance’s initial impression and last around 10 to 20 minutes. The Top Notes for thisAdidas Cologne are Aqueous, Ozonic Accord, Green Notes, Aldehydes, Grapes, and Citrus Accords.
The Middle Notes for this Adidas Fragrance are Cardamom, Violet Leaves, and Lavender. These fragrance notes form the main body of a perfume and are long lasting.
The Base Notes for this Adidas Cologne for Men include Musk, Amber, Teak and Patchouli. They are the longest lasting qualities of a fragrance and help to slow down the evaporation of the lighter notes.
